Advisory Council Drafts Revised Affordable Housing Policy Statement

The Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) is seeking comments on a revised policy statement on affordable housing and historic preservation A draft of the revised policy statement was published in the July 17 Federal Register, and comments are due August 16. The draft was developed by a task force set up by the ACHP last year to review the council's existing policy statement, which was adopted in 1995, in light of changes to the regulations jmplementing Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and other ACHP initiatives.
