摘要

The statute of limitations for filing a Fair Housing Act complaint alleging inaccessible design and construction of an apartment complex begins to run when the construction is completed, ruled the U.S. District Court for the District of Nevada. (Thompson v. Mountain Peak Associates, LLC, No. 2:05-CV-145-BES-GWF, 2006 WL 1582126 (D.Nev.), June 5, 2006) Plaintiff Tamara Thompson and others brought an action alleging that defendants, in the construction and design of the Sunrise Bay Condominium Development, discriminated against Thompson and other handicapped individuals by failing to create accessible building entrances or accessible routes to the buildings.
