The House Financial Services Committee approved four housing bills May 24, including an FHA zero down payment bill (H.R. 3043) and a broader FHA reform measure (H.R. 5121). The committee also approved bills reauthorizing the HOPE Ⅵ program through September 30, 2011 (H.R. 5347), and exempting persons with disabilities from the prohibition against providing Section 8 assistance to college students (H.R. 5117).
