HUD has issued revised instructions for the voluntary transfer of Section 8 voucher funding from one PHA to another, clarifying the conditions under which partial transfers will be approved.rnThe terms for transferring housing choice voucher, project-based voucher, and project-based certificate funds were outlined in Notice PIH 2010-39 (HA), which was issued on September 28. They include certain modifications to the previous guidance in Notice PIH 2007-6 (HA).
