Bipartisan Commission Formed To Address Long-Term Challenges

The Bipartisan Policy Center (BPC) announced the launch of its own bipartisan housing commission to address the long-term challenges facing a struggling housing sector, to review national housing policy, and to make practical recommendations to Congress. The commission co-chairs are former HUD Secretaries Henry Cisneros and Mel Martinez, former Sen. Christopher "Kit" Bond, and former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell, a founder of BPC.
