New Internet Program Helps Identify Suitable Sites, Funding Programs for Maryland Projects

The Maryland Department of Housing and Community Development (MDHCD) has developed an Internet-based computer program to help developers identify potential funding sources and sites for low-income housing tax credit and other affordable housing developments. The MDHCD mapper program allows developers to input information about a proposed project and street address and get a report listing available funding programs. The program is a free service available to developers, nonprofit groups, local governments, and residents.
