摘要

Improved equity market conditions have prompted the Wisconsin Housing and Economic Development Authority (WHEDA) to increase its pricing and underwriting assumptions for basis increases for 2011 low-income housing tax credit awards. In a May 5 memorandum to tax credit applicants, WHEDA said it initially assumed 2011 tax credit projects would receive 68 to 76 cents per tax credit dollar in investor equity. However, the authority determined that market conditions have improved over the past year and that it had underwritten applications at assumptions that were significantly below current prices.
