摘要

Michigan has suspended awards of state historic preservation tax credits while the legislature considers restructuring corporate income taxes to address a budget deficit. "We are accepting applications, but what we're not doing is awarding state tax credit reservations," said Robbert McKay, historical architect for the Michigan State Historic Preservation Office (MSHPO), adding that awards won't be issued for the "foreseeable future." The suspension applies to projects seeking to use state credits by themselves or in combination with federal historic rehabilitation tax credits, but it does not affect applications for federal credits only, he said.
