The degree of ownership accruing to the owner of a condominium unit, particularly one that is part of a single high rise building, was at stake in the Florida litigation that culminated in the decision in Fortune Intern. Hospitality, LLC v. MResort Residences Condominium Ass'n, Inc., 2011 WL 5864545 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 3d Dist. 2011). The condominium association, M Resort Residences, represented 210 residential unit owners residing in a condominium building that was developed jointly by Fortune International Hospitality, Tangiers Beach Associates, and Edgardo A. DeFortuna.
