Chiaraluce v. Ferreira, 2014 WL 7466508 (Mass. Land Ct. 2014), was a decision issued by the Massachusetts Land Court finding an abandonment by the owner of a property of the right to rebuild a hurricane-damaged nonconforming structure after allowing a special blanket permit allowing replacement of hurricane damaged property to expire, and when his intent to acquire the property was not for the purpose of rebuilding the original structure.
