In her testimony before the Senate Committee on Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs in support of her nomination to be Deputy Secretary of HUD, Pamela Patenaude called rental affordability this country's "silent housing crisis" and that housing solutions should be seen as the "foundation for economic mobility and personal growth."
