The Defense Threat Reduction Agency is seeking solutions to support interrogation of vessels, vehicles and structures through active or passive means to allow detection of point sources of radiological materials or special nuclear materials at stand-off ranges up to several kilometers. Technology solutions can include active interrogation techniques that employ highly directional, high-energy beams of photons and/or particles to stimulate detectable emissions from shielded nuclear material.
