RAE Systems introduced two new toxic gas detection tools last week that promise to aid first responders during situations in which carbon monoxide may pose a threat. "First responders are always dealing with things that burn and things that burn emit carbon monoxide," said RAE spokesman Bob Durstfield, who said the company's new ToxiRAE 3 single-gas monitors and AutoRAE lite bump test and calibration station can help determine dangerous levels of carbon monoxide and other unseen threats.
