摘要

The Department of Homeland Security and its Customs and Border Protection office have failed to adequately respond to newly discovered dangers with radio frequency devices installed in U.S. ports, according to a recent private sector report. The report, produced by the international transportation security company Powers International, states that radio frequency identification devices (RFIDs) commonly used to track shipping containers leaving and entering ports could potentially be used by terrorists to detonate an explosive device.
