The cumulative results for all three categories point to consumers who are buying mostly what they need, and have less disposable money for bells, whistles, color schemes or thread counts.rnIn reports HTT published on 'lop of Bedding (March 10, p.8) sales were down 1.4%, while Utility Bedding (April 7, p.6) was the bright spot, showing a gain of 4.1 % as the practical consumer was willing to spend more on functional goods.
