Target Begins Another Wave of Soft Openings in Canada

Target began the soft open of its first 24 stores in Western Canada on May 7 following the recent launch of its first Canadian stores in Ontario. The latest round of soft openings include stores in British Columbia, Albeita and Manitoba. Target plans to open 124 stores across Canada over the course of this year.
