American Homes and Textiles has signed a licensing agreement with Scholastic to produce a soft home collection featuring the Clifford the Big Red Dog character and his friends.The Clifford property, which marks its 50th anniversary this year, continues to air on PBS television and remains a big seller in children's books."We are delighted to add Clifford to our already strong lineup of in-house juvenile bedding styles," said Naveed Shamsi, vp of American Homes and Textiles.
