Business is not running as usual for area rug manufacturers and suppliers. As retailers put more effort into their omnichannel and ecommerce strategies - and consumers plunge into product research - suppliers are making added investments on the back end of the business. These include enhanced marketing efforts, such as the addition of in-house photo studios, on-staff photographers, and full-time social media specialists, to name a few. Jaipur Inc. updates it online presence at least once daily, sometimes more, and has created a schedule for almost every day of the week to showcase its products and/or offer expert design and decor advice to consumers.
