Sheet and Towel Political Science 101

If you must know, I was a political science major in college, which is like saying you couldn't figure out what to study so you ended up with this one. As a career choice it didn't exactly have big bucks and stardom written all over it. Yet, some (many) years later it turns out that knowing a bit about how nations and governments interact with their populations, not to mention each other, isn't such a bad skill to have. In fact, if you're trying to make a living in the world of home textiles, it's a handy thing to know. That has never been more apparent than the situation the industry finds itself in today, deeply dependent on the comings and goings of politicians, foreign governments and international trade policies that largely defy logic. The only thing not quite right is that there's nothing particularly scientific about the whole thing.
