LEDS FOR MANUFACTURERS

CREE offers manufacturers complete testing and analysis for LED fixtures through its newly developed TEMPO™ (Thermal, Electrical, Mechanical, Photometric, and Optical) Services. The purpose is to share its experiences with LEDs and accelerate the availability of high-quality LED lighting while maintaining a higher level of consumer confidence. While third-party labs provide testing services such as IES LM-79, CREE identifies other aspects such as compatibility between materials used in luminaires and the LEDs themselves, the effectiveness of mixing slightly different color LEDs for enhanced color consistence, and TM-21 LED lifetime projections.
