What are the main challenges in your current role? to date, the MHA has been very successful, with a whole string of awards. I need to build on that success and beyond, which is not going to be easy. What are the most common types of saving under the alliance model? Clearly the most obvious cost saving is in procurement, with the process considerably shortened, saving both client and contractor significant amounts of money. Better management of risks and collaborative working also lead to major savings for clients. Do you meet much resistance from contractors? Not yet, and in the main I don't really expect to. After all, working together collaboratively should be as beneficial for them as it is for us.
