Mouchel has beaten two other consultants to a £60 million commission from Norfolk County Council to provide highways design and professional services. The contract runs from April 2014 for an initial seven years and could be extended annually for up to 12 years. Spending of between £30 million and £60 million is expected over the full 12 years.
