Work has started on the final phase of the Highland Council's £55m Inverness West Link bypass. RJ McLeod is building the final phase, which will cost £10.1m and include a second swing bridge at Tomnahurich to reduce congestion on that side of Inverness. Highland Council leader Margaret Davidson said: 'This stage of the West Link will bring many more benefits to the area, including reducing journey times for many.
