Airbus EC135T1 82 + 62 of German Heeresflieger destroyed in post-crash fire after crashing in cornfield near Dehmkerbrock/Aerzen during training flight from Bueckeburg airbase. 1 fatal. Leonardo AW 139 N32CC of Challenger Management written off when it crashed into Atlantic Ocean following night departure from Grand Cay Island, Abaco. Helicopter was seen to initially climb on take off to about 15m (50ft) and accelerate in nose-down attitude, but then apparently spun to the left three-four times whilst descending before impacting the water. Helicopter was subsequently found inverted in about 5m (16ft) of water about 2km (1.2nm) from the departure point, with the five main rotor blades separated but recovered, and the tail boom separated. The tail rotor assembly was also separated with all four tail rotor blades detached but one blade missing. 7 fatal.
