The war between Blu-ray and HD DVD has just got ugly, with the studios now drawing battle lines based on the format they will -and won't be - using. Paramount Pictures has taken the decision to use HD DVD only and has dropped support for Blu-ray. Many have speculated as to the reasons behind this, but no one has come up with the definitive answer.
