As in-house supplier to a national retail chain, the Danish speaker maker Dali had a sheltered early life. Since then it has become a flourishing and well-respected international brand, under the leadership of Lars Worre. He joined Dali in 1991 as a graduate engineer and, remarkably, became managing director only two years later. As Lars explains, Dali originally got under way because Peter Lyngdorf, owner of Hi-Fi Klubben (which now has 70 stores in Denmark, Sweden and Norway), was also involved with Cerwin-Vega loudspeakers.
