As Barry Fox reports in his column this month [see p85], this year's CES was the first to engage with the challenges faced by a 'greener' consumer electronics industry. That its 'TechZone' so visibly promoted the ideals of sustainable, carbon-neutral manufacturing and the design of more energy-efficient products is a welcome sign of the times.
