In as much as I permit myself to pleasurably anticipate anything, I enjoy your Hi-Fi@Home feature immensely. However, I feel somewhat frustrated that the natural future evolution of a reader's hi-fi system is rarely followed up in a subsequent update. I myself was probed for your mighty organ back in 2004, and it may be of interest to your readership - including newcomers in the intervening five year period -to hear how my system has developed since.rnFirstly, my Audiolab 8000M power amplifiers have been replaced with monstrous Pass Labs X600 monoblocks, each of which weighs as much as an expectant hippo. My Apogee Stage speakers have made way for the mighty Apogee Scintillas, complete with new ribbons and a Mercedes White finish. Each speaker stands as aloof as an Easter Island statue; indeed KK's assertions as to their 'irrelevance' pass them by like an idle wind. Meanwhile, my Audiolab 8000C preamplifier has been substituted by an ex-John Nelson Krell 7B.
