Behind the music

Just writing to say how much I enjoyed the August issue of Hi-Fi News, with your re-instated yellow cover. It was your extended music section that really grabbed my interest, especially the Thin Lizzy article. The way the writer conjured up the atmosphere of the time - it took me right back to my student days. I could almost smell the spilled beer and feel underfoot the sticky carpets of the London Marquee, where I saw Lizzy mid 70s.rnThe Hot Rats article was really informative too. I remember borrowing the album from a mate in school. Back then everyone used to bring LPs into class and swap them.
