Onkyo amp is hot stuff

I was not suprised to see was that the Onkyo TX-NR906 receiver won your AV receiver group test [see HFN Feb '09]. I actually own the much more humble Onkyo TX- SR605 receiver, which I use in bi-amp mode to drive the ATC SCM 7 speakers in my AV set-up (I also use a REL 201E sub). It sounds rather wonderful in the bi-amp mode and the treble sounds significantly sweeter compared to single amping. This improvement must surely be measureable?
