Situated just a half hour's drive from Bordeaux, Paul and his wife Christiane's house is a haven of tranquility - important for someone who at times likes to 'close the walls' and become immersed in music. Both retired now, he and Christiane were teachers of physics and although reasonable, a teacher's lifestyle is not a rich one. The development of Paul's system has therefore sometimes been one of hard choices - selling one component to improve another elsewhere.
