In his March '11 Opinion, Barry Fox cautioned against looking for charity shop 'bargain' LPs which might harm a delicate stylus assembly. But he must know we vinyl addicts cannot easily resist - perhaps finding something we'd foolishly parted with and then regretted. (Some Oxfam shops local to me in North London grade their stock, with pricing nearer the ￡5 mark for clean copies.)
