Trickle-down technology is alive and well at Monitor Audio as the company utilises the experience gained in cabinet, crossover and driver design in its top-end Platinum series for the more affordable CX range. It's an extensive collection that includes the £950 GX50 and £ 1250 GX100 standmount speakers with £2300 GX200 and £3000 GX300 three-way floorstanders [the GX300 is pictured opposite]. The range is joined by various centre and surround channel speakers together with the substantial £1750 GXW-15 active sub complete with 1 Sin driver and 650W of built-in amplification from D2Audio.
