First issued on Blue Note in 2008, this impressive debut is silky, sexy and far too accomplished for someone so young. She comes on like one of handful of current audiophile-approved songstresses well into their careers, say, past album No 4, while there's enough of that post Kate Bush/ Roches wispy-voiced worthiness to let the music sound, on occasion, like it should be running in the background of the next iPad or Dove soap advertising campaign.
