Sonicweld Diverter

An exercise in audiophile overkill if ever I saw it, Sonicweld's Diverter is the most 'extreme' self-powered USB-to-S/PDIF converter we've encountered. Our picture tells its own story. I'm sure there's a good reason why the central 'box' (a laminate of alloy and stainless steel by all accounts) that houses the USB receiver and D-to-D converter is surrounded by a slab of architectural aluminium, machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 alloy.
