Audel was founded in 2008 by Walter Carzan and Silvia Russo, who continue to guide the company's product development including its new Class D amplifier. All Audel's speakers are designed and handmade in-house. 'The appearance of products is crucial to Audel,' says Walter. 'Our passion is to design objects not just to listen to, but to touch, see, in a word - to love!' Its first products were the Design Series which includes Fred & Ginger, two 67cm-high 'speaker people' with bodies made from birch ply that house drive units hidden within their torsos.
