Midway through Audioquest's five-strong USB cable range is this 'Carbon' version which, fortunately, contains no graphite at all. It's probably named after the woven carbon fibre-esque jacket that clothes this fashionable cable. The four A and B plug contacts are silver-plated and the conductors are all solid copper-core types, the pair that carry the differential data also silver-plated and insulated with a thicker HDPE dielectric than the+5V supply and ground conductors.
