From 1983, the original 8000A integrated amp had a reputation for superb reliability and fine sound. It made the Audiolab brand synonymous with affordable quality. Unsurprisingly, the new sleek 8300 series continues the theme. The 70W/8ohm 8300A at £900 and the 8300CD at £1000 offer impressive build for the money and ample facilities, while their finely finished aluminium cases have a more 'Apple' look than before.
