It seems there are short memories in the editorial offices of HFN these days. In the report covering the Bristol Sound & Vision Show that appeared in the April edition we see Pro-Ject's vertical turntable described as 'innovative'. However, turn to pi29 of the very same issue and in the 'Rom The Vault' feature, with show reports republished from the 1980s, there is a vertical turntable from Mitsubishi which is described by HFN/RR as 'most ridiculous new concept'. Perhaps Pro-Ject's offering is not so innovative after all?
