Sister company to Danish speaker brand Raidho [p32], Scansonic exists to trickle down the latter's technology into more affordable products. At £749, the compact two-way standmount MK-5 features the same quasi-ribbon planar magnetic tweeter used in the Raidho-inspired M-series together with a new 4.5in Kevlar-coned mid/bass driver. Rated at 88dB sensitivity, the MK-5 is offered in a choice of Piano Black and White finishes.
