Headphone review

Headphones are a very popular addition to hi-fi systems, primarily because they allow the hi-fi man to enjoy his hobby while other activities are in progress in the same room. They also enhance the stereo effects because they eliminate the acoustic crosstalk inevitable when loudspeakers are employed, and thus they increase the separation between channels and improve the definition of the stereo image. In total these advantages result in about half a million pairs of headphones being sold each year.
