TURNTABLE FOR £600

I want to upgrade my turntable now that I'm finally getting back into vinyl in a serious way after many years away. I was wondering if anyone makes an audiophile-grade deck that is semi-automatic, and, if so, which models or brands would be worth considering? I have only managed to find one for sale - the Thorens TD 235 - which costs a shade under £600. If there are no alternatives to the Thorens, then so be it, I will go for a fully manual turntable instead. My system is built around an Audio Research REF 75 power amp [HFN Nov '12], Ayre 5 series phono stage and Ayre 5 series preamp [HFN Nov '16]. Congratulations on the magazine still being a great read. I am now well into my third decade of unbroken readership.
