Never judge a Fiat by its cover

The Doblo Van, pictured below, is yet another unusual design from Fiat. Some people may say it's rather ugly, and to be frank, it is. But as beauty is only skin deep, a few minutes in the company of one of these excellent vans will soon make you look beyond its unfortunate looks. The test van was fitted with the JTD diesel engine giving decent performance and driving on the motorway was no problem. Surprisingly for a van, the road holding was every bit as good as most cars although we did not try it fully loaded.
