Daikin Airconditioning UK has introduced a domestic hot water module which, when connected to the refrigerant circuit of a VRVIII HR heat recovery system, enables hot water to be produced from surplus heat recovered from the VRV, to be transferred to a building's domestic hot water or heating water circuits. According to Daikin, nornenergy is required to heat the water during heat recovery, so it is effectively produced free of charge, generating considerable savings in overall system running costs.
