The DEVI Hydronic is an underfloor heating system which operates by circulating water at low temperatures through a series of continuous pipe loops laid within a screed, or between timber joists, beneath the floor surface. DEVI claims that the Hydronic system offers accurate control and wastes no heat at ceiling level. DEVI's managing director, Steve McCall, said: "The nature in which heat is radiated across the whole floor surface makes it a highly cost-efficient and comfortable option." The Hydronic has flexible and lightweight pipes that can be unrolled and clipped into the supplied clamping tracks. DEVI provides two kinds of pipe, a multi-layered and a pe-rt pipe. Both oxygen-proof pipes are designed to provide protection from corrosion and limescale.
