Buteline has launched a Proclamp tool, available in 22mm and 16mm sizes to help make installation of its Clampseal technology as fast, effective and easy as possible. Both the blue-handled 16mm tool and yellow-handled 22mm tool comprise a ratchet with an in-built locking mechanism. This helps make installation simpler by avoiding slipping when jointing, while providing an easier means to achieve the necessary level of pressure to create a secure weld. Using the new Proclamp tool, the installer can be sure that the two parts - Buteline Polybutene pipe and one-piece fittings -will be held securely in place while six tonnes of controlled pressure is applied to the exterior of the two components, permanently attaching them together.
