摘要

The proper prediction techniques incorporated in the heat exchanger design guidelines and assessment of the exchanger performance in all anticipated transients would greatly enhance heat exchanger performance and mechanical integrity. A specific emphasis on the dynamic response verifications of specific heat exchanger geometry would help in the selection process for appropriate types of heat exchangers. Enhanced heat exchanger technologies, when put to test on dynamic behavior verifications for specific processes, can differentiate their applicability and improve returns on capital investments on heat exchangers and assure reliable operations with longer run cycles.
