Security and privacy incidents are a growing threat to businesses and individuals alike as hackers use increasingly sophisticated methodologies to spread malware and carry out cyberat-tacks. According to the third annual study on cyber resilient organizations by IBM Security and the Ponemon Institute, 61% of healthcare respondents in the past two years have experienced a cybersecurity incident that resulted in significant disruption to their organization's IT or business processes.1 At the same time, a majority-77%-admitted they do not have a formal cybersecurity incident response plan (CSIRP) applied consistently across their organization.
