EPA Issues Environmental Technology Verification Program Case Studies

EPA's National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL) investigates technological and management approaches for preventing and reducing risks from pollution that threatens human health and the environment. NRMRL researches and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of environmental technologies that are used to prevent and control pollution to air, land, water, and subsurface resources; protect the quality of water in public water systems; remediate contaminated sites, sediments, and groundwater; prevent and control indoor air pollution; and restore ecosystems.
