Soil Washing Technology

Soil washing technology has been around for many years and has been used effectively in Brazil, the United States, the Netherlands, Belgium, the UK, Sweden, and other parts of Europe. In the Waterfront Toronto project there are two proponents demonstrating similar but subtly different soil washing technologies: Tetra Tech is using technology from Stuyvesant Environmental Contracting Inc. (SECI), a subsidiary of Netherlands-based Boskalis Dolman bv; DEC is part of the DEME group - a Belgian holding company.
